Ana
Originally from Portugal but currently settled in Vienna, Ana is wrapping up her PhD thesis after a decade in the science arena. A blog post about sheet masks piqued her curiosity and sparked her interest in skincare and K-Beauty. One thing led to another and Ana found herself randomly ordering some sheet masks one day and when they arrived, she snapped a couple of iPhone shots and posted them on her personal account Instagram account. This soon spiralled into an obsession over K-Beauty and instead of spamming all her friends who had no interest in skincare, Midnight Merlot was born instead.
Ana loves nothing more than connecting with other skincare nerds but mostly values how her account serves as a creative outlet for two things she enjoyed but never really allowed herself to explore before: photography and writing
