Ceramides found naturally in our skin help to keep it hydrated and work to bolster the skin barrier. When they’re compromised, you’ll see dryness, redness and sensitivities. This silky, butter cream-like formula addresses these issues while bolstering skin’s resilience as well. You’ll want to stock up on this formula if you’re prone to redness and inflammation and especially if you’ve overdone it on active skincare ingredients or sun exposure. A multi-ceramide complex works to reinforce the skin’s delicate moisture barrier while a triple hyaluronic acid solution is key for keeping hydration levels topped up on the surface right through to the deepest layers of the skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS

  • Multi-ceramide complex to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier
  • Triple Hyaluronic Acid Solution to boost skin’s hydration levels

WHY WE LOVE IT

Ideal for soothing and comforting compromised skin, you’ll want this buttery-textured cream in your skincare kit year-round. It really helps to diminish redness while hydrating even the driest of complexions. An added bonus? It won’t block pores so it’s equally great to use if you’re prone to oiliness or breakouts.

Amazing ceramide cream

Dr Jart reformulated their Ceramidin cream a while ago and now it breaks me out terribly, so after thinking I'd finally found my forever cream I had to start researching again. I came across this and it ticks a lot of the boxes: it's non-comedogenic, has hyaluronic acid, multi-ceramide, panthenol. It's the best comparable product I've found so far, and after investing in a jar, I'm pretty sure this is going to outperform Dr Jart's moisturizer. The packaging is fantastic - the jar is weighty frosted glass, and there is an internal lid under the screw top lid to seal the cream and keep it fresh. The cream itself has a whipped texture, but managed to feel thick and comforting as well as cooling and fresh on the skin. The smell is slightly herbal in a medicinal way, something I personally enjoy, but it's not strong so don't let that put you off if it's not your thing. It's very smooth and silky to rub in, and sinks in well, so no sticky or slippy residue despite being a thicker cream. It feels like cocooning your skin in a layer of protection, so this is an especially good investment for colder weather. I'm really happy with the performance so far - no breakouts or irritation from my sensitive skin, and I've found it's improved the hydration levels in my skin with use over the last month. I'm really impressed and would definitely recommend it, it's a pleasure to use!
